A vintage watercolor on paper titled Ballet Design by well-listed American artist Fred D. Penney (1900 – 1988). This piece features a pair of ballet dancers in traditional costumes, striking an elegant pose. The work is signed in paint to the lower right, and it is presented under a grey mat and glass in a wood frame. Hanging hardware and biographical information are affixed to the verso.
