A lithograph on paper after listed artist Pablo Picasso (1881 – 1973), titled La Danse Du Berger. This print depicts a loose rendering of stylized figures dancing and playing a wind instrument as a goat and bird hover to the periphery. The composition is rendered with gestural, black brush strokes. To the top left corner of the composition is an in plate signature and date, appearing to read November 17, 1959. The print is presented under glass beneath layered matting in a silver tone frame with hanging wire and a certificate of authenticity to the verso.
Condition
- glass has been removed; light wear throughout frame finish; mat and paper are somewhat loose.
