Item Details

A signed oil painting on linen of a harbor scene with figures by an artist named Van der Huison. This painting depicts two female figures in period European dress in an interior viewing a harbor. The figures appear to be creating or repairing fishing nets. This piece was painted Impressionistically with loose fast brushwork, thick paint, and evident brush marks. It is signed to the lower right. It is presented in a composite ornate gold-tone frame with cast embellishments.
