1950s Wiedemann Beer Sign

A 1950s Wiedemann beer advertising sign. The sign is made of a strong cardboard with a plastic molded image of a Rainbow Trout. ‘MAGNIFICENT’ adorns the top of the sign in black block letters. The sign was printed to look like wood grain; the water has a die-cut window in which the image of the trout protrudes. A long neck bottle of Wiedemann beer is pictured. Wiedemann was located in Newport, Kentucky. The sign was made by ‘Thomas A. Schutz Co.’, out of Chicago and ‘Kentley Board Grand Rapids 9, Mich.’
