An antique Seth Thomas Shasta adamantine mantel clock. This American-made, twenty-one jewel clock is housed in a frame of wood with black marbled adamantine celluloid embellishments. The frame features a Greek Revival design incorporating Corinthian-style pillars with metal volutes and bases under a scalloped cornice, the pillars resting on a broad pedestal with ornate lion’s paw feet. The dial has Arabic numerals and an ornate, gilded medallion and rim. The clock has not been tested; a key is not included.

Condition
