An original, pencil signed to the lower right hand corner, photo offset lithography print, by well listed Ohioan wildlife artist John A. Ruthven (b. 1924). The print is part of a fairly small, for Ruthven, limited edition number 216 of 600. The print is entitled ‘State of Ohio Cardinal,’ and is part of the Early Bird Series. The print features a lifelike rendering of two cardinals pecking berries from a tree. The print is beautifully presented in a wooden frame with grey paint and a pair of color mats to edge.
