An antique oil painting on canvas of a coastal village by listed artist Anton Willem Van Marus (Dutch, 1836 – 1913). This painting features a coastal landscape and depicts a single fishing boat docked near an embankment and a village comprised of rustic buildings. It is signed by hand to the lower right corner. The painting is presented without glass in a gold tone wood and gesso frame with cartouche corner molding. This painting is ready to hang with a metal hanging wire to the verso.
