A pairing of early twentieth century loving cup trophies. This selection includes a silver plate trophy by Wallace Brothers Silver Co., which features an embossed laurel leaf band around the top, angular handles, a round floral finial, and a personalized engraving to the front reading, ‘Thomas N. Greer in Appreciation of Your Civic Activities Rotary and Lions Club 1926’. It is marked to the underside, ‘Wallace Brothers Co. Wallingford, Conn.’ and the number ‘V2944’. This piece is presented with a brass tone trophy featuring scrolled handles, a black pedestal base, and a personalized engraving on the front reading, ‘W.L.A.C. Trophy Fine Harness Pony Class Tennessee State Fair Horse Show 1937 Cecil Woods, Jr.’ The brass tone trophy is unmarked.
