Grand Tour Plaster Intaglios
Item Details
A large collection of approximately sixty-six Greek and Roman Pre-Classical and Classical style Grand Tour intaglio impressions. Each impression is held inside a numbered fiberboard wrapping and affixed in arranged horizontal rows inside of a loose drawer. A paper label to the back reads in part ‘Wax Seals Pair.’
Condition
- scratches, paint coming off. Some seals missing from the rows. Some seals taped into place. All numbers not in order.
