1938 Buick Y-Job Die-Cast Model Car

A die-cast metal and plastic 1:18 scale 1938 Buick Y-Job model car. It has a black body with ‘chrome’ trim and white tires, with a gray seat and gray and black interior doors, floor and dash. The Buick Y-Job was produced by Buick in 1938 as a concept car, and was designed by Harley J. Earl. It had retractable headlamps and power windows, with recessed door handles and a gunsight-style hood ornament, all designed to give the car a powerful and sleek, futuristic look. The model car hood, doors and trunk are hinged and can be opened. The underside of the model car is marked ‘Anson’, along with the name of the model.
