A Parvizian Pakistani Peshawar area rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of muted gold, tan, red, green, and brown. The red-burgundy field is patterned with angular palmettes and vines. The gold and tan main border features a similar pattern of Shah Abbasi palmettes. It has short fringe to either end and it is marked on the reverse with tags from the importer Parvizian Rugs.
