An oil painting on canvas of a winter landscape with elk by Cincinnati artist Thomas Corwin Lindsay. This work, signed ‘T.C. Lindsay’ to its lower right and depicts the antlered animal gazing out toward rows of hills lined with leafless trees, a blanket of snow on the grassy field before him. This painterly piece is mounted in a gold- and silver-toned frame, and has a wire to its verso for hanging.

- mild discoloration to image; slight warping to ground; minor abrasion wear to frame.
