A German porcelain figurine. This figurine depicts a young man that is courting a maiden by playing his horn. She is holding a basket of flowers and has her arm on the young man’s shoulders, and there is a sheep at their feet. The piece bears the mark of a crowned ‘S’ on the underside and is from the Sitzendorf Porcelain Manufacturing Company in Sitzendorf, Thuringia, Germany from 1902 – 1972.
