Item Details
A watercolor painting of a mountain scene by artist Sylvia Conant. This painting depicts a slightly abstract composition of a peaked, rocky mountain with a plane of grass to the foreground, which is rendered with pooled pigment slightly reinforced with thin brush strokes. To the lower right corner of the composition is a painted artist signature, dated 1947. The painting is presented under glass beneath matting in a black wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- marks and specks to mat; spotting to underside of glass; edges of mat visible along right edge; chips and nicks to frame.
