An oil painting on canvas of an East Asian city scene by artist Tang Ping. This Impressionist style painting depicts a central alley with loose figural forms walking towards storefronts featuring protruding awnings and signs labeled with Asian calligraphic text. To the lower right corner of the composition is a painted artist signature. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame featuring a linen liner with a sawtooth bracket to the verso for hanging.
