A giclee print on paper after the original illustration by Charles Carroll titled Dancer’s Image. This print depicts the horse named Dancer’s Image who won the 1968 Kentucky Derby but was then disqualified for use of phenylbutazone. Runner up, Forward Pass, was then awarded first place. A print of this horse can be found in this same auction (17LEX216-058). The print is signed in-plate and housed in a wooden frame with black painted detail and an oval mat.
