A limited edition porcelain sculpture Least Tern by Boehm. This life-like piece presents the elegant tern swooping down in flight, mounted on leaves on a sandy colored base. The work is sculpted in delicate detail and finished in vibrant colors. It is signed to the edge of the base with the Boehm maker’s mark, title and model number 40102 to the underside. The piece is marked 188 in a limited edition. Examples of this work can be found in; Bellingrath Gardens, the Dellchamps Gallery of Boehm Porcelain, Theodore, AL and the Customs House, Clarkesville, TN.
