A limited edition porcelain sculpture, Rufous Hummingbirds. This lifelike piece presents a pair of hummingbirds, a yellow Icelandic poppy on a rocky base, sculpted in delicate detail and finished in vibrant colors. The work is signed in mold to the edge of the base with the Boehm maker’s mark, title and model number 487 to the underside and was made from 1966-1973. Example of this piece is also found in Bellingrath Gardens, the Dellchamps Gallery of Boehm Porcelain, Theodore, AL and Customs House Museum, Clarksville, TN
