Oneida Community "Morning Star" Silver Plate Flatware Set
Item Details
A silver plate flatware set in the Morning Star pattern by Oneida Community. The pattern was first produced in 1948 and features a square handle with a pieced floral motif and horizontal banding. This set includes approximately twelve hollow handle dinner knives with stainless steel blades, twelve salad forks, ten dinner forks, eleven iced tea spoons, twelve tablespoons, twenty-four teaspoons, twelve flat handle butter spreaders, one ladle, four serving spoons, and one cold meat fork. The handles are marked ‘Community’. Also included is one unique silver plate serving spoon with a shell tipped handle marked ‘Italy’. The items are presented in a wooden tarnish proof chest branded ‘Community’.

- box has surface wear including scratches and nicks; flatware shows some surface wear including scratches and various stages of tarnish.
