A hand tufted Indian Safavieh wool area rug. This rug is done in an Aubusson Style and features a palette of black, charcoal, sand, camel, ivory, and sepia; displaying a large central medallion with floral motifs in a black and charcoal arabesque patterned field. The field is framed in a floral and foliate patterned border with large circular medallions to each corner. The rug is finished with a cotton binding and backing, labeled ‘Safavieh, Hand Tufted, Black, Hand Made in India, 100% Wool Pile’. There is also a label from Kaleen stating that child labor was not used in the making of the rug.
