Antique Barber Chair by Koken

Item Details

An antique barber’s chair, manufactured by Koken, St. Louis, Missouri. The chair appears to retain the original leather upholstery and brass nailhead trim, while also featuring white enameled arm rests, seat foundation and pedestal base. The cast iron foot-rest contains the manufacturer’s name and a cast base, to the rear of lower headrest, provides a patent date of 1910.
