Item Details

A ‘Bela’ painted folding screen made in India for World Market. The three-paneled stained wood screen has pierced details throughout with hand painted lotus blossoms and greenery to the front side. Retains original World Market tag which reads ‘The Bela screen is hand-painted using traditional painting techniques by the craftsmen from the desert region of Rajasthan, India. Each piece is unique in design and color. The painted floral motif has been inspired by old storage boxes used in Tibetan monasteries’ and includes care instructions.
