A mid to late 20th century oil painting on canvas by Swedish artist Nilsson titled Höstlandskap, Glumslöv. The piece depicts an abstract Swedish waterfront landscape rendered in hues of blue, green, brown and purple. The work is signed in grey paint to the lower left, appearing to read ‘Meg Nilsson’; it is additionally titled to the verso of the top stretcher bar. It is presented without glass in a silver tone wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the back. The canvas verso includes a partially completed painting of a beach landscape.
Condition
- to Fair; edge wear, small dents and minor abrasions to canvas; scuffing and wear throughout canvas with areas of media loss; accretion, edge wear, small holes, scuffing and scratching to frame; no backing paper present.
