A signed artist’s proof offset lithograph on paper after an original painting by listed British artist Barry Leighton Jones (1932 – 2011), titled A Helping Hand. The painting depicts celebrated American clown Emmett Kelly (1898 – 1979) dressed as his famed Wearie Willie character as he wipes a tear from the face of a young female clown. The print is signed and labeled ‘A/P’ for artist’s proof in graphite to the lower margin. It is double-matted in white and red with decorative die-cutting and is presented behind acrylic glass in wooden frame with gold tone finish and a hanging wire.

Condition

- a few very light scratches and scuffs to frame.
