Signed limited edition of Edward Gorey’s ‘Doubtful Guest’ Doll with original box. The rarest of the commercially made dolls this limited edition ‘Doubtful Guest’ figure was created in 1974 under Mr. Gorey’s supervision. This interesting Gorey Character is made of heavy gray knit fabric with a knitted striped scarf and white leather shoes. The inside of the scarf has a tag with Gorey’s signature and title of story. This doll is #21 of only 50 made! The original box has a paper stamp on the front with Gorey’s drawing of the doubtful guest.

Condition

Corner of lid on box has come unglued.
