1983 Jana Kozon Decorative Pottery
Item Details
A group of vintage pottery pieces including a 1983 dish from Jana Kozon (1950-2012). The three pieces in this lot all have a similar light brown tone; the grey hollow canteen item has a knotted and braided twine attachment in a brownish-yellow shade. The decorative trinket or candy dish with floral and geometric motifs features many openwork looped ceramic handles at its sides. It is signed in the surface to the base ‘J. Kozon – 83’. The canteen with a doughnut hole and the lidded jar are not marked but bear a similar technique, such as the folded ribbon handle on the lid, to other Kozon pieces.
