Antique Majolica Plates Including Schütz
Item Details
A twenty two piece assortment of Majolica earthenware plates. The plates feature molded floral, foliate, vegetable, bird, and figural designs in a pastel palette of green, blue, purple, and pink with dark green accents. The antique Schütz plate depicts a baby playing with a spoon and bowl on a square pink field with green foliage to the verge. It was marked ‘Schütz Cilli’ to the underside indicating production between 1900-1917. The vintage pink floral plate was made in England and is marked ‘H & K Tunstall’ placing production before 1956 by Hollinshead & Kirkham. The asparagus plate is marked ‘K G Lunéville’ to the underside. The blue plate with yellow flowers is marked ‘Zeus Germany.’

- crazing; crack to one plate; stains and marks to undersides; some chips to rims.
