A vintage sewn cloth first flag of The Republic of Texas in a wooden frame. The machine sewn flag features an off-white star, with one letter each TEXAS fit between the five arms of the star, on a dark blue ground. The flag is presented in a natural tone wooden frame. A brass tag nailed to the frame reads ‘First Flag Of The Republic 1836 This Flag Was Selected By Five Signers Of The Texas Declaration Of Independence’. Wired for hanging.
