A collection of carved wood figural animals including a Bertha Medina gourd from Peru. The ten pieces in this lot feature a giraffe with carved accents and other realistic touches, three guineafowl feathers, the handmade Medina owl gourd, a lion, two elephants, a buffalo, and a rhinoceros. The painted and etched squat gourd with brown and light orange colors has seeds inside for noise effects. The owl or guineafowl gourd is signed ‘Bertha Medina’ to the base.
