An original oil painting on canvas by listed French painter Jean Amiot (born 1920). This maritime themed painting depicts two fishing boats tied off and anchored together not far from a rocky coastline. The work is signed ‘J. Amiot’ in the lower right. It is presented in a gold tone gesso frame with a canvas and gold tone liner. There is a sawtooth hanging bracket mounted to the verso.

- moderate denting to bottom center of canvas; slight scuffing to surface of frame
