Shadowbox Wall Clock

A vintage shadow box wall clock. This unique piece features the workings of a clock mounted under glass, in a shadowbox frame with hinged front glass door. It is adorned with additional gold tone molded trims. The white porcelain face is circled by plaster flower petal trim, painted gold. The pendulum features the face of the sun, which is visible through a cut-away on the front. Wooden back slides open to reveal workings and is quite primitive in comparison to face. A key is present for winding. Unmarked.

Condition

- untested; cracks to top and bottom of plaster frame and wood adjacent to it; some wear to finish; scratches around key holes.
