A signed original watercolor and gouache painting of birds by well listed American artist Conrad Roland (1900-1957). This painting depicts a male and female bird perched on dried stalks against a blue and green background. This painting is signed and dated (1939) to the lower left. It is presented double matted with extensive decorative french lining, behind glass, and in a distressed gold-tone wood frame. The verso of this piece is equipped to hang.

- there is slight yellowing to the edges of the mat.
