Singer "Slant-O-Matic 500" Sewing Machine with Cabinet

A Slant-O-Matic 500A sewing machine by Singer. This piece was made in 1961, is bone white in tone and features caramel tone instructions and text. This machine features eighteen sewing patterns with four different switch width selections as well as rocket-motif levers to coincide with the Space age when this product was released. The sewing machine folds down into ‘The Colonial’ maple cabinet and the tops fold in to create a flat surface. There is one drawer on the front right side. The table is supported by four turned wood legs. Included with the sewing machine is the original owners manual and accessory case.
