A Sears ‘Kenmore’ vintage sewing machine in wood cabinet. This heavy sewing machine is marked model #5186 and has a soft gray-green color finish color with silver trimmings for a distinguished appearance. It is housed in a hardwood cabinet with folding top that provides a work surface and encloses the machine when not in use. The front of the cabinet appears to have two drawers but the lower is a hinged door that holds a small notions tray and the top is decorative. Brass pull hardware is attached to the center of the panels. The machine is operated by a black foot pedal.
