An ornate vintage tabletop bible stand, also known as a missal stand. This decorative stand features a polished brass flap bearing a Maltese cross. The folding flap can be hinged flush against the reticulated gilt base encrusted with green and maroon glass stones standing on four molded, lion’s head feet. The item is unmarked.

Condition

- item has been highly polished and there are areas where the gilt has rubbed from the base
- light surface scratching and dings to the brass flap
