McCormick Elvis Presley Figural Decanters Including Musical Decanter

A pair of figural ceramic decanters depicting Elvis Presley, both of which were originally produced for the McCormick Distilling Company. The colorfully painted Aloha Elvis decanter depicts Elvis in his iconic eagle jumpsuit standing atop a blue music box base with hibiscus decoration and a plaque reading ‘USS Arizona Memorial Benefit Performance Pearl Harbor – 1961’. The other decanter features a solid white statue of Elvis in performance on top of a rectangular decanter base; a label on the front reads ‘Elvis Designer Collection 80 Proof Straight Bourbon Whiskey 750 mL Distilled and Bottled by McCormick Distilling Co. Weston, MO. 64098’ and the underside is marked ‘’© Boxcar Enterprises, Inc. 1977’ ‘Lic. by Factors Etc., Inc., Bear, De.’ © Americana Porcelain McCormick Distilling Company ® 1981 Designer Series Daniel R. Klahn Designer’.
Condition
- original contents not present; both stoppers loose; “Elvis Designer Collection” label peeling at edge; Aloha Elvis retains tax strip, torn in two and with some wear; music box functional when tested.
