An antique chromolithograph print on paper after the painting Winter’s Pastime in Lincoln Park, Chicago by George Blair. This color print depicts figures in Victorian era attire ice skating on a frozen river. The work is signed in-plate in the lower right ‘Geo Blair’. It is presented under glass in a gold tone wood and gesso frame. There is a hanging wire mounted to the verso.
Condition
- to fair; dirt and stains between glass and image; glass is pitted due to aging; gold tone wood & gesso frame showing nicks and scratches around the frame; corner joints do not meet properly.
