A limited edition offset lithograph after a painting by American folk artist Howard Finster (1915 – 2001) titled Animals World. It depicts an imaginary landscape filled with animals and with birds and angels flying in a pink sky. Dominating the scene are several tall black triangles that may represent trees. Among several comments written on the work are ‘Gods Care for All Creatures’, ‘Visions of the Animals World. No Hunting Aloud’, and ‘Children Love Animals. I Love the Children.’. It is signed in the plate and dated April 28, 1988 and signed by hand to the lower right. The title is written to the lower left and it is numbered 341/500 to the lower center. The print is mounted under glass with black layered mats in a gilded wood frame that is wired for hanging.
