A pair of watercolor paintings on paper of wildflowers, by by listed American artist George Carpenter (1928-2006). These painterly works depict an Impressionistic view of a grassy field scattered with blooms, as well as a daisies growing against a mottled greenish ground. Each piece is signed ‘George Carpenter WHS’ to its lower edge, and the pair are presented unframed and without protective coverings.
