Oil Painting of Farmers Collecting Hay
Item Details
An oil painting on board. This piece depict a farm field in which two men are pulling a cart along a line and collecting bales of hay. It is dawn, and the sun is breaking over the horizon in bright orange light. The painting is signed illegibly to the lower right corner. A label is affixed to the verso for William Sissons Gallery in Yorkshire. It is presented in a gold tone wood and gesso frame that is wired to the verso for hanging.

- frame showing nicks and scratches.
