A signed oil painting on canvas board of two figures by American artist Leslie Fliegel (1912-1968). This painting depicts two figures in a dimly lit interior. The artist has used color expressively to great effect. The piece is signed and dated (48) to the lower left. It is presented in a wood frame with a white and blue distressed finish. The verso of this piece is equipped to hang.
Condition
- there is warping to the canvas board, the canvas has begun to separate from the board, and there is craquelure throughout the painting.
