An offset lithograph on paper titled Shall I Board Her, Sir? after a painting by artist Mort Kunstler. This print features a naval combat scene from the War of 1812 and depicts men working strenuously on a ship. It is signed in-plate and by hand in graphite to the lower right margin. It is numbered ‘15/900’ by hand in graphite to the lower left corner and features a graphite illustration of a solider to the lower right corner. It is titled in typeset to the lower center margin, matted in blue, and presented behind glass in a gold tone wooden frame with a paper backing and metal hanging wire to the verso. Affixed to the verso is printed literature with additional information on this print and a certificate of authenticity from American Print Gallery.
Condition
- slight buckling to print; slightly dusty; surface and edge wear to frame; wear throughout frame’s finish.
