A handbuilt and sculpted stonewre bear plate. This display piece depicts a mother bear and cub, black figures in relief, crossing a white center surface. The plate is bordered in black and black paw prints are scattered across the bottom section. The work has molded clay loops on the back for attaching a string and hanging; the artist’s signature, ‘Jan Hurd’, is written in the surface on the back.
