Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of a beach by artist M. Jordan. This painting depicts a beach on a cloudy day with sand grass blowing in the wind and soft waves washing ashore. It is signed and dated ‘66’ by hand in paint to the lower right corner. The painting is presented without glass in a wooden frame with linen lining and a metal hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- discoloration to painting and linen liner; residue present; craquelure; minor surface abrasions and paint loss; foxing to the verso; minor surface wear and nicks to frame; slight wear throughout frame’s finish.
