An oil painting of ducks flying over water by an artist signing the piece ‘E. Max.’ This work is rendered with a palette of powdery blues and greens, and depicts the waterfowl winging over a marshy pond. Feathery brush and hazy trees are visible in the distance. This piece is signed toward its lower right corner and is mounted in a white frame with a cream textile liner and a wire for hanging.

- marks to textile liner along upper edge; minor nicks and wear to frame; cardboard taped to verso.
