Item Details
A pair of Royal Doulton Eglinton Tournament and Battle of Hastings pitchers. Featured are two stoneware pitchers decorated with hand-painted scenes. Included are The Battle of Hastings, 1066, from the Bayeux Tapestry, marked with the Royal Doulton lion passant crown mark, production numbers and an artist’s mark; and a jousting match, The Eglinton Tournament and the Royal Doulton lion passant crown mark, It has a registration number, ‘Rd 408787’ with an artist’s mark and production number to the underside.
