An oil painting on canvas by artist Nona Rutter, titled Swamp Yellow. This Impressionist style painting depicts a reflective body of water cutting through sloped hills accented with thick bushes and curling trees loosely rendered with pigment. To the lower left corner of the composition is a painted signature. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame featuring a linen liner with hanging wire to the verso. Handwritten in ink to the top leg of the stretcher is a title and artist signature.

- some stains around the cloth mat; nicks and scratches around the frame; painted residue to frame verso.
