Oneida "Heiress" Sterling Silver Flatware Set

A sterling silver flatware set in the Heiress pattern by Oneida. Produced between 1942 and 1979, each item features an oval tip with scalloped details and an acorn motif to base of the handle. This 69-piece set includes one flat handle master butter knife, seven flat handle butter spreaders, eleven hollow handled dinner knives with stainless steel blades, one gravy ladle, four serving spoons, one cold meat fork, eleven soup spoons, ten teaspoons, twelve salad forks, and eleven dinner forks. The back of the handles are marked either ‘Heirloom Sterling’ or ‘Oneida Sterling Heiress’. The knife blades are marked ‘Heirloom Stainless’. The total approximate weight, excluding the knives with stainless blades, is 67.855 ozt. The set is presented in a wooden tarnish proof box.
