1940's Western Union Wall Clock

A 1940’s western union wall clock. The clock is a self-winding, Naval Observatory clock which meant the clock was synchronized every hour by the Southwestern Clock Company time system. Other features of the clock include a box style metal frame with a brown finish surrounding a white face with brown Arabic numbers and black hands and a hook to the verso for hanging. The clock is labeled ‘Naval Observatory Time’ and ‘Western Union’ to the face.
