An experimental Rookwood Pottery vase. This piece features a teal exterior decorated with hand-painted red floral motifs. It has a slightly tapered body and a flared rim. It is marked to the underside with the Rookwood insignia, as well as ‘233’ and an artist’s mark, ‘DW’ with an etched star mark and an experimental mark, ‘XZVI.’
Condition
-to fair: small chip to base; surface wear.
